[edit] What is a task?

A task is the building block of a process. In the KP-Environment, a task is a loosely defined object within a shared space that allows for organizing a process. Tasks can contain:

  • other tasks (which would become “subtasks” in this case)
  • content items (any type)

[edit] Adding a Task

Using the context menu:

  1. Right-click on the background of the view area and choose "Add task" (see figure 2).
  2. Fill out form with necessary information regarding the task to be added.
  3. Press "OK" to add the task or "Cancel", in order to cancel the whole action.

Using the Menu Bar:

  1. From the Menu Bar, select File - Add Task (see figure 3).
  2. Fill out form with necessary information regarding the task to be added.
  3. Press "OK" to add the task or "Cancel", in order to cancel the whole action.

[edit] Modify a task's information

[edit] Using the context menu:

  1. Right-click on the task and choose "Modify".
  2. Make the necessary changes to the task's information in the form that is displayed.
  3. Then, press "OK" to save the changes or press "Cancel" to not save the changes.

Tasks, as well as Content Items, can be modified in Information Tab.

Using the context menu:

  • Right-click on the task and choose "Delete".
