The Controls Tab contains different actions and filters that help you visually organise your objects within a shared space in both Process View and Content View. You can also use the Controls Tab when you are in the Network View of shared spaces.

[edit] Actions and filters

The Controls Tab includes these actions:


  • Select View (Network View / List View)
  • Filter... (...by Node Type / ...by Node Title / ...by Permission / ...by Tags)
  • Add Items (Add Link / Add Task / Add Content Item / Add Visual Model).

[edit] Select View

You can select between viewing in Network View or List View.

[edit] Viewing a Visual Model

Controls tab can be used to viewing Visual Models.

The Visual Models tab on the left hand side of the screen allows you to show and hide the model and/or the contents in the background as well as to close the model. Furthermore, you can toggle between different models (see also: Working with Several Models in Parallel). The figure 3 describes the different options you have.

  1. Checkbox to Show or Hide the content items in the background.
  2. Radio button to toggle between different models (Select visual model).
  3. Checkbox to Show or Hide the visual model.
  4. Button to Close the visual model completely.

[edit] Filter

It is possible to filter visible contents of KP-Environment in several ways.

[edit] Filter by Tags

Inside a Shared Space, the Controls Tab shows all the tags that are given to the Shared Space´s content. See figure 4.

Select a tag by clicking it (see figure 5).

Then click "Fit On Screen" button. It will show all the contents that are tagged with the tag you selected.
