[edit] What is a content item?
A content item contains various types of content within a shared space. A content item can be one of the following:
- a file
- a weblink
- a wikipage
- a note

You can upload practically any type of file to a shared space to be shared with other members of the same shared space. Once a file has been uploaded to a shared space, it can be manipulated as an object within the different views and is represented by an icon similar to the one in figure 1.

[edit] Add a content item to a shared space
Using the context menu:
- Right-click on the background of the view area and choose Add content item.
- Fill out form with necessary information regarding the content item to be added.
- Press Ok to add the content item or Cancel, in order to cancel the whole action.
Using the menu bar:
- From the menu bar, select Item > Add content item.
- Fill out form with necessary information regarding the content item to be added.
- Press Ok to add the content item or Cancel, in order to cancel the whole action.

Using the context menu:
- Right-click on the content item and choose Open.
[edit] Modify a Content Item's information
It is possible to edit a Content Item:

- in context menu:
- Right-click on the Content Item and choose Modify.
- Make the necessary changes to the Content Item's information in the form that is displayed.
- Then, press Ok to save the changes or press Cancel to not save the changes.

Using the context menu:
- Right-click on the content item and choose Delete.
